“Life is like a merry-go-round. It is full of ups and downs, you feel like you’re just going in circles. But when the ride ends, you want to do it again!” L.P.

After what felt like the longest ‘down’, I can say I’m happy to be finally ‘up’ in our own life carousel. Plus what’s there not to like when it’s the weekend? I’m working tonight but at least I can enjoy the company of my family right now. 🙌🏻

We work hard not so we can invest on material things, but so that we can LIVE and explore places and show our son the different cultures and ways of life - hopefully he grows to have that deep respect and understanding for everyone.

Pretty sure you guys already know who the star of this account is! Yep it’s our little man! And while we keep working on our photography skills, he keeps getting more natural in front of the camera too! 🤗

“There are two gifts we give our children - one is ROOTS, the other, WINGS.” And until our son is finally able to soar high on his own, we’ll keep him safe and protected in our own little nest.

The Nest - one of the meeting spaces in the Amazon Spheres in Seattle, is perched next to Rubi, a 55ft tall plant, the biggest in the project. I remember seeing the pictures online for the first time and thought, “I need to get that IG shot!” And we got there. And it was next to impossible to be able to have the space all to ourselves, because the flow of visitors are nonstop since they only open the place to general public two Saturdays a month. So, yeah, photoshop it is! LOL
